Snake River Grill

Location: 84 East Broadway, Jackson Hole, WY 83001

Price: $$$ (out of 4)

Reservations: Yes (recommended)

The Snake River Grill is what we like to call casual fine dining with a well thought out menu that includes a variety of seasonal items, including a good selection of seafood.  The restaurant is just off the town square and up a flight of stairs.  The inside has the look of a log cabin and on a chilly evening they'll have the fireplace going.  Officially they classify themselves as an American grill and we agree that's an accurate assessment.

Location: 55 N. Cache Street, Jackson Hole, WY 83001

Price: $$

Reservations: Yes (recommended)

Local Restaurant & Bar is a contemporary take on a steak house with a modern decor.  The restaurant is on the town square, next door to the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar.  While it's more modern inside, you will definitely feel warm and welcome.  If it's on the menu definitely try the elk tenderloin!

Million Dollar Cowboy Bar

Location: 25 N. Cache Street, Jackson Hole, WY 83001

Price: $$ (drinks are reasonable)

Reservations: Steakhouse Yes

The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar is a landmark in Jackson Hole.  The bar is full of history, and a little bit of a tourist trap, but it is definitely worth stopping in for a drink.  We only had drinks here, but they also have a steakhouse.  The bar is large.  It's right off the town square.  The barstools are all horse saddles.  Million Dollar Cowboy Bar has been around for decades and it's roots go back more than a century.

Location: 155 N. Glenwood, Jackson Hole, WY 83001

Kitchen is a short walk from the town square.  The restaurant is modern cuisine with a mix of cultural influences.  While the service was slow the night we were there, the food was excellent.
