VIP Lounge Punta Cana Terminal B

Punta Cana's International airport features two VIP lounges.  One in Terminal A and one in the newer Terminal B.  The VIP Lounge in Terminal B is just past security and the first couple of duty free shops.  I accessed the lounge with my Priority Pass.  (Guests are an additional charge with PP)

I arrived at the lounge about two hours before my flight, about 12pm local time.  There were two of us, and we had the lounge to ourselves for the first hour.  While it isn't large, this lounge is modern, clean and has comfortable seating.  There is a mix of couches and seats at cafe tables.

The lounge features a small cold buffet that included light snacks.  I was happy to see fruit and vegetables and not just a bunch of junk food.  There were also mini sandwiches and beef skewers, which were quite tasty.  When you enter they give you two coupons for alcoholic drinks, which includes house brands and Dominican beer.  Top shelf liquor are available for an additional fee.  Soft drinks, bottled water and coffee and tea are also complimentary.

This lounge features clean and modern bathrooms, though I can't remember being in a public restroom that uses translucent glass panels as a bathroom stall.   The staff was friendly and attentive   This lounge also includes complimentary wifi, but this airport features free wifi for all passengers.

Bottom Line

If you're flying out of Punta Cana in Terminal A this lounge is a comfortable place to wait for your flight.  I got in for free with PP, I don't know if I'd pay to enter.    If you have a few hours to burn it's worth the price of admission.
